Indianapolis, Indiana-The junk car business is not dead, in spite of what you may have read or what you may think. Anyone in the junk car industry lately, or anyone trying to sell a junk car lately understands that the price of steel being down has really lowered the price of junk cars. It is a supply and demand type of product. Junk cars are a commodity. If the price of that commodity is down, well it affects the sales. The positive side of that though for those of us in the junk car business is that there are junk car made every day. The owner needs to do something with their junk car.
